If traveling by car:

The best way to reach the Magic Mountains® and get around the area is by car. If you are unable to travel in your own vehicle, we suggest you consult the following car rental website:

The area is served by the A32, A25, A24, A1, and A4 highways. From Lisbon, the best option is to take the A1 (about a three-hour drive), and from Porto, take the A32 (about an hour). To get to Castro Daire and São Pedro do Sul, take the A25 and A24.

If traveling by bus:

It is possible to travel by bus from various points in the country and Europe to the Magic Mountains, and make internal connections between municipalities in the territory.

The closest train stations to the Magic Mountains are Ovar, Espinho, Aveiro, Porto (S. Bento), and Mosteirô (on the Douro line).

If traveling by plane:

The nearest airport is Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport in Porto, but you can also fly into Lisbon and Faro in the Algarve. Once you arrive at the airport, the best option is to rent a car.

Otherwise, consult the routes, schedules, and connections available by bus and train.
