Be surprised by the enormous variety of plants and animals that populate the Montanhas M\u00e1gicas, sheltered by the four classified areas of the Rede Natura 2000 – Paiva river, Vouga river, Freita and Arada mountains and the Montemuro mountains.<\/h2>\n

The Montanhas M\u00e1gicas\u00ae cover five sites classified as of high geological, environmental and ecological value: one UNESCO geopark, the Arouca Geopark and four Sites of Community Importance of the Natura 2000 Network \u2013 Paiva River, Vouga River, Freita and Arada Mountains and Montemuro Mountain. The existence of these classified sites gives space for a touristic offer of excellence, based on an unending number of ecotourism, geotourism and active tourism activities.<\/p>\n

Rare and protected fauna and flora species, as well as rare and unique geological occurrences throughout the World can be observed, interpreted and understood in this territory.<\/p>\n

Explore the mountain ranges, rivers and valleys of this territory by wandering through the pedestrian paths, observing nature or practicing adventure sports and discover places that are truly unique!<\/p>\n
