The ribeiradio Dam and the Rodo Islanders are located in the Vouga river, Sever do Vouga, and result from the construction of the Ribeiradio dam, near the village of Amiais, in Couto de Esteves. The new dam is the latest welcoming card of the city of Sever do Vouga. In addition to the exceptional landscapes offered by its water mirror, where the paradisiacal Rôdo Islanders emerge, there are also tourist sports activities that can be developed in this dam - kayaking, stand up paddle, fishing - and other non-motorized activities, in order to preserve the tranquility and environmental quality of this wonderful natural area.
