About

The Agualva Waterfall is located about 100 meters upstream from the bridge over the Lordelo river, between Couto de Esteves and Lourizela. The access is difficult - through the riverbed and small paths along the banks – but it is worth it. The Lordelo waters are projected on a waterfall of more than 10 meters height between large and dark rocks, forming a narrow well in its lap. Due to the difference of the rocks hardness in the river bed, the water digged the gap that created this waterfall.

Access to the point of interest: 300m on foot; difficult (from the Lourizela bridge - 40°45’50.45”N, 8°17’47.83”W)
