The river beach of Quinta do Barco, located on the left bank of the Vouga river, is distinguished because it is a river resort with Blue Flag, guarded, accessible to people with reduced mobility and with a Quercus degree flag. It is part of an exceptional wooded area with a good beach, an attractive bar, changing rooms, grill area, picnic area with tables and wooden benches, and car park. During the bathing season there is a floating river pool, with adjustable height, where children and adults can make the first swimming strokes or enjoy safe baths. The area of the river beach of Quinta do Barco is widely used for tourist entertainment companies to carry out games, group dynamics and other recreational and sports activities. It is also the starting point for adventure sport activities, especially canoeing, that take place in the Vouga. The Vouga Ecotrail is located a few meters from this river beach.
