The Sever do Vouga ecotrail is meant for walking, cycling, rollerblading, skateboarding and riding micro scooters, in a unique natural setting, where the Vouga River, its picturesque valley and the railroad heritage of the former Vouga line are the great protagonists.

Estação de Paradela

From Foz village, the ecotrail goes north, always along the Vouga River, through forest and agricultural areas. Its trail spans six graceful tunnels: the century-old Poço de Santiago Bridge, ex-libris of the municipality of Sever do Vouga; the recovered building of the former Paradela Station, offering an attractive eco-cafe and a pleasant terrace, with toilet service, changing rooms and bicycle rental service; and the picturesque Cedrim railway halt, also recently recovered.

Properly signaled with vertical and horizontal signs, the Vouga Ecotrail has no steep slopes, rising slightly when approaching Cedrim.
