Talhadas Mountain - Sever do Vouga

The Talhadas Mountain, which stands on the south of the Vouga river, in Sever Vouga, is a privileged space for the observation and interpretation of the megalithic, being an open archaeological museum. For this reason we could not help suggesting you this walk, along which you can also visit a section of the roman road; enjoy magnificent views over the picturesque Vouga Valley and over the Atlantic coast; visit a remarkable set of “Canastros” and threshing-floor in the parish of Cedrim; stroll on a small “levada”, which takes you to water mills; and discover two huge granite blocks, that flank the EN333 road in Talhadas parish. You can also take a moment to meditate and observe the religious art and architecture at Main Churches of Talhadas and Cedrim.
