The Main Church of Sobrado has a baroque and rococo architecture, it is located in the center of Castelo de Paiva, next to “Cruzeiro da Independência” and to Largo do Conde. This is a longitudinal temple, composed of a single nave, a lower and narrow chancel, with painted wooden ceilings, a sacristy and a square bell tower. The facades have pilasters in the corners crowned by spires and crosses. In the inside stands out the spans surmounted by crown molding carvings; two Neoclassical side altarpieces and two late-Baroque side altarpieces. The main altarpiece, in rococo style, has a concave plant and three axes.
